D-backs’ Bark at the Park day fills Chase Field with good dogs

May 6, 2018, 2:50 PM | Updated: 2:54 pm

Next to Opening Day and the World Series, the Diamondbacks participated in baseball’s greatest tradition on Sunday.

Bark at the Park.

The stadium was filled with Diamond-barks enjoying the smells and sounds of the stadium.

Some got to walk on the diamond before the game started.

Others enjoyed the unique seats of Chase Field.

Some even got the privilege of being part of the Circle of Life on the Jumbotron.

You know this dog wants to come back.

Fans posted selfies and pictures with their dogs as the game went on, some wearing D-backs gear. The team is donating a portion from each Bark at the Park ticket sold to the Animal Welfare League.

It’s unclear exactly what the dogs thought about the game, but it’s a safe bet that they enjoyed watching people run around, chasing a ball.
