A left-thigh bruise will keep Steve Nash out of the lineup
Monday as the Suns host the NBA champion Dallas Mavericks.

The injury, suffered Saturday in a win over the Memphis
Grizzlies, came at the end of the game.

“I need to be able to run. Right now I can’t really run,” he
said following shoot-around Monday. “Hopefully if I get more
flexibility I can start running. There’s just swelling in
there that you need to get out or else it’s going to limit
my flexibility.”

Apparently Nash was unable to get loose, so the Suns will
start Ronnie Price in the two-time MVP’s place.
