Arizona Diamondbacks Jarrod Dyson added another impressive defensive play to his resume on Tuesday night against the Milwaukee Brewers.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, Matt Koch had allowed no baserunners through three innings. That quickly changed when Lorenzo Cain singled and Travis Shaw walked on a nine-pitch at-bat with two outs to bring up Domingo Santana.
On a first-pitch curveball right over the plate, Santana hit the ball to deep center field.
Dyson initially got a bad read on the ball and quickly had to make his way to the wall. Luckily for Dyson, the ball was hit so high he still had time to judge where the ball was as he arrived at the wall.
Dyson timed his jump perfectly and snagged the ball, which would have just went over the yellow line.

Holy crap Dyson, what a catch.

Dyson has been at this before, already robbing a home run against the Astros at Chase Field in early May.
The 33-year-old outfielder was brought in for his defense and speed, but while Dyson is not known for his bat, he has struggled immensely at the plate. A lifetime .251 hitter, Dyson entered the game hitting .196 in 102 at-bats.
Like Dyson, most of the D-backs lineup has been unable to produce at the plate, making Dyson’s play all that more meaningful to the overall outlook of the game.
