When he’s not scoring 20 points and leading his team in
scoring — as he did Thursday night, Grant Hill can be
found on set, a music video set.
The Suns starting forward was in L.A. this past weekend,
spending part of his All-Star break co-starring in a music
video.
“My wife did a video and I played her love interest in the
video.”
Hill’s wife, Tamia, is a five-time Grammy-nominated R&B
singer and songwriter. They’ve been married for 12 years,
but this is his first appearance in one of her videos.
“It wasn’t a lot that I had to do,” Hill continued. “She
was the one that was working so I did get a little bit of
rest. It was a long day but productive. They were very
efficient with how they shot it.”
The video is for Tamia’s latest single, “Beautiful
Surprise,” the title track off her fifth studio album
which is scheduled to be released this summer.
The song, however, was released Friday morning.
Hill, who made his music video debut in a cameo appearance
in Nickelback’s “Rockstar” in 2005, enjoyed his leading
man role.
“I’m officially a video vixen.”
