Alvin Gentry: ‘We didn’t get it done’

Sometimes it’s not how you lose, but when you lose.
“At the end of the day,” said head coach Alvin Gentry, “we
had a chance to (close the gap) in the standings with a
win and we didn’t get it done.”
The Suns loss to Minnesota Monday night did more than just
end a season-high five-game home winning streak. It cost
the team a chance to move into a 10th place tie with
Portland and Utah and pull to within a game-and-a-half of
eight-seed Houston in the Western Conference.
