Arizona Cardinals 2018 draft picks Josh Rosen and Christian Kirk will throw the ceremonial first pitch at the Diamondbacks game on Tuesday, the Cardinals announced.
Rosen, a quarterback, was drafted No. 10 overall and is the presumptive quarterback of the future for the Cardinals, though he may not start immediately.
Kirk was drafted No. 47 overall. He is an Arizona native and attended Saguaro High School before playing wide receiver for Texas A&M.
The D-backs will also recognize Cardinals rookies during a pregame ceremony on the field.
This will take place at 6:30 p.m. before the D-backs take on the Reds at Chase Field.
The D-backs have lost 15 of the last 17 games, falling to second place in the NL West.
They’ll try to find their offense against the Cincinnati Reds, who are last place in the NL Central with a 19-35 record.
