Without Hill, Suns have hands full with Durant

Apr 18, 2012, 5:45 PM | Updated: 8:22 pm

Whenever you play the Oklahoma City Thunder, you know your
hands will be full trying to deal with Kevin Durant, the
league’s two-time defending scoring champion.

When you’re forced to face Durant without your best
defensive player, your hands get even fuller.

That’s the boat the Phoenix Suns find themselves in
Wednesday night as they host Durant and the Thunder at US
Airways Center likely without the services of veteran
forward Grant Hill, who’s been slowed by a knee injury.

If Hill can’t go, expect Jared Dudley to get the primary
defensive assignment on Durant, who is averaging 25.1
points per game against Phoenix in his career.

After Wednesday’s shootaround, Hill himself
did say that
his knee was feeling better and termed himself a “game-
time decision.”

His head coach disagreed.
