Steve Nash to Knicks possible, but not likely

The New York Knicks got a bit of good news Friday, which
is actually bad news for the Phoenix Suns.
It was ruled that the Knicks will have Bird rights on both
Jeremy Lin and Steve Novak, which means they are allowed
to go over the salary cap to keep both players.
Where this affects the Suns is now they can spend money on
some other free agent, rather than being forced to use all
their cash just to keep their own free agents.
One guy whose name is certain to be linked with the Knicks
is Steve Nash, though MSG Network’s Knicks studio analyst
Alan Hahn says he doesn’t see the point guard heading to
the Big Apple.
“I don’t believe he will be,” Hahn told Arizona Sports
620’s Burns and Gambo Friday. “I think his best bet is to
stay right where he is in Phoenix.
“I think that franchise desperately needs him, and they’re
going to have to spend to keep him of course.”
