And the comeback was completed. The Cardinals had the ball the the two minute warning, but a lackluster three-and-out and a poor punt gave the Ravens good field position and they set kicker Billy Cundiff up for an easy game-winning field goal. Welcome to the ground floor, Kevin Kolb. The Ravens defense sacked Kolb six times, but got him a lot more. Needless to day, it wasn't a peaceful day at the office in the Cardinals backfield and Kolb is going to need some ice. Running back Ray Rice switched it on for the Ravens on Sunday. He was given the ball 18 times and put up 63 yards. Not a great average-per-carry rate, but his three rushing touchdowns made up for that. Oh how the ghosts of receivers past will haunt you.
Former Arizona Cardinal wide out Anquan Boldin tormented the young cornerbacks on Sunday. He caught seven passes for 145 yards. He didn't post a touchdown, but dropped a few in the end zone and drew a few pass interference penalties. Things were going so well for the Cardinals in the first half. A punt return, some turnovers and Kolb was on the money. The Cardinals managed to leave the Ravens dumbfounded at the end of the first half when they led 24-6, but that would change in the second half.
