The Phoenix Suns announced they have added five players to their training camp roster, including former ASU star Ike Diogu.

A six-year NBA veteran who was originally drafted by the Golden State Warriors ninth overall in 2005, Diogu has also spent time with the Trail Blazers, Kings, Clippers and Spurs.

Diogu has career averages of 6.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per game.

Joining the former Sun Devil on the team’s training camp roster are guards Diante Garrett and Othyus Jeffers, as well as forward/centers Solomon Jones and Luke Zeller.

Garrett, 23, played for the Suns’ summer league entry. He averaged 4.6 points and 2.6 assists in five games.

Jeffers, 27, has spent time with the Utah Jazz, San Antonio Spurs and Washington Wizards during his brief two-year career. He missed all of last season with a torn ACL in his right knee.

Jones, 28, is a five-year NBA veteran who has spent time with the Hawks, Pacers, Clippers and Hornets. He has averaged 3.1 points and 2.4 rebounds in 268 career games.

Zeller has spent time with the Spurs’ summer league team and was on the team’s preseason roster last year. He has professional experience after playing in Japan and Lithuania, as well as the NBA D-League.
