Arizona State guard Tra Holder has signed with Auxilium Fiat Torino of the Italy Serie-A Basketball League, according to Sportando.
The 6-foot-1 guard will play oversees under the tutelage of NBA Hall of Famer Larry Brown, who enters his first season coaching the Italian team.
The unsung captain of “Guard U” at Arizona State, Holder was a key contributor for Bobby Hurley and the Sun Devils.
Holder led the team in scoring, averaging 18.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game, often leading the way for Arizona State during key matchups throughout the 2017-18 season.
The guard scored more than 25 points in a game on five occasions throughout the season, including 40 points against No. 11 Xavier, 29 on the road at No. 2 Kansas and 31 against in-state rival and No. 17 Arizona.
Holder helped lead the Sun Devils over both Xavier and Kansas last season on the way to their first 20-win season and NCAA Tournament appearance since the 2013-14 season.
Undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft, Holder received a camp invite by the Philadelphia 76ers, but was left off of their Summer League roster, paving the way for him to sign with Fiat Torino.
