The Arizona Coyotes announced Wednesday they have acquired defenseman Jacob Graves and a conditional sixth-round pick from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for forward Ryan MacInnis.

Graves, 23, played 23 games in the AHL and another 24 in the ECHL during the 2017-18 season. He had a total of 10 points and 50 penalty minutes across the two leagues.

In 281 career OHL games, the 6-foot-2 Graves has 42 games and 452 penalty minutes at that level.

MacInnis had six goals and 14 total points for the Tucson Roadrunners in the AHL last season, playing in 59 games.

The 22-year-old 6-foot-3 forward was once one of the highest ranked prospects in the Coyotes’ system. Drafted No. 43 overall in the 2014 NHL Draft, MacInnis was ranked at No. 47 in TSN’s top 50 prospects in 2016.
