Former Arizona star Rawle Alkins has signed a two-way contract with the Chicago Bulls, according to Yahoo’s Shams Charania.
Alkins, who spent two years at Arizona, averaged 13.1 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists in his second season on the team.
He played on the Toronto Raptors during Summer League, impressing with his 25-point, 11-rebound game in an overtime victory. Alkins averaged 9.0 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.
On a two-way contract, Alkins would be allowed to spend up to 45 days in the NBA and the rest of the time on the Bulls’ G-League team.
When he spends time on the Bulls roster, he will play alongside former Arizona teammate Lauri Markkanen.
He is one of three players from the 2017-18 Wildcats roster to join an NBA team this offseason. Allonzo Trier signed a two-way contract with the New York Knicks as an undrafted free agent in June, while Deandre Ayton was drafted No. 1 overall by the Phoenix Suns.
