The Arizona Coyotes will play three September games in Las Vegas as part of a rookie tournament hosted by the Vegas Golden Knights.

The Vegas Rookie Faceoff games will run from Sept. 8 through Sept. 11 and be played at City National Arena, the Golden Knights’ practice facility.

Coyotes rookies will report to camp at Gila River Arena on Sept. 6, where they will undergo medical evaluations and fitness testing with an on-ice practice set for Sept. 7.

Arizona did not release a list of participants for the event on Friday. It’s expected that the roster will include members of a 2018 NHL Draft class led by the No. 5 overall pick, center Barrett Hayton, and the Coyotes’ second-round selection, defenseman Kevin Bahl, who was drafted 55th overall.

The Colorado Avalanche, Los Angeles Kings and San Jose Sharks will also participate in the tournament.
