Arizona State football is a month away from kicking off the 2018 season when they host UTSA Roadrunners Sept. 1 at Sun Devil Stadium.
98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station will continue to serve as the flagship station for Sun Devil football and men’s basketball broadcasts.
Football broadcasts will feature two hours of pregame coverage, with the first show “Tailgate Pre-Game Show” hosted by former ASU defensive back Jordan Simone and Jeff Munn. Simone and Munn will broadcast live from Pitchforks & Corks prior to home games.
“Countdown to Kickoff” is the second hour of pregame coverage and is hosted by play-by-play voice Tim Healey and color commentator and former Sun Devil quarterback Jeff Van Raaphorst. Healey and Van Raaphorst will broadcast the game after the pregame show, with Simone reporting from the sideline.
Munn will host the football post-game show “Devil Talk” that will feature a call-in portion.
For basketball, Healey will host a 30-minute pre and post-game show along with color commentator and former Sun Devil basketball player Kyle Dodd.
Arizona Sports will also carry “All Aboard,” football head coach Herm Edwards’ weekly in-season show, as well as men’s basketball head coach Bobby Hurley’s show “Fast Break with Coach Bobby Hurley.”
Vice president of athletics Ray Anderson’s show alongside Healey, “Anderson-Healey Show” will also air on Arizona Sports. ESPN 620AM will also air 10-minute call-in shows with Edwards and Hurley.
When scheduling conflicts exist, Sun Devil athletics programming will air on ESPN Phoenix 620AM or KTAR News 92.3 FM.
