Cardinals bring back the Juggernaut, Reagan Maui’a

Nov 1, 2011, 5:19 PM | Updated: Nov 2, 2011, 12:09 am

The Cardinals, dinged up after their loss to the Ravens
Sunday, needed to find a fullback to replace the injured
Anthony Sherman.

Enter the Juggernaut, but maybe not for a few weeks.

Sports agent Andy Simms tweeted that the Reagan
Maui’a has re-signed with the team, though he is suspended
for three games
due to violating the NFL’s substance
abuse policy.

Maui’a spent last season with the Cardinals, appearing in
15
games. He had two catches for 20 yards, but was cut during
2011 training camp.

In corresponding moves, the Cardinals released defensive
end Ronald Talley and re-signed him to the practice squad
and released defensive tackle Ricky Lumpkin from the
practice squad.
