One of the subjects for the new season will be former Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer, who retired from the NFL at the conclusion of the 2017 regular season.
Palmer just completed a 14-year career, playing his final five seasons with the Cardinals.
During his time with the Cardinals, he helped guide the team to two postseason appearances, including a 13-win season and playing in the NFC championship in 2015.
In 60 starts with the team, Palmer completed 62.5 percent of his passes for 16,782 yards and 105 touchdowns. He put together a 38-21-1 record as the starter.
He had a career year in 2015.
The signal-caller made a case for the NFL MVP, totaling 4,671 yards in the air (fourth among NFL quarterbacks) to go along with 35 touchdowns (tied for second-most in the league) and just 11 interceptions. He also posted a career-high 77.1 quarterback rating.
After being selected by the Cincinnati Bengals with the No. 1 pick in the 2003 NFL Draft, Palmer established himself as a talented quarterback who battled injuries throughout his career while posting strong statistics.
Other subjects that will be chronicled this season include: Mike Holmgren, Dwight Clark, Lawerence Taylor, Thurman Thomas, Brian Dawkins, Doug Williams, Willie McGinest, Cris Collinsworth, Tony Romo and Bill Cowher.
The new season will begin on Sept. 14.
