Cardinal wants coach Whisenhunt to know he’s working out

The NFL lockout has made it where there can be no direct contact made between players and coaches.
While they may not admit it, some players might not see that as such a bad thing.
Others are missing their coaches and time with the team. At least one player is anyway. Or that’s at least what he said on Twitter Monday afternoon.
Arizona Cardinal Darnell Dockett is the player that took to tweeting about his feelings on the lockout and not being able to be around his coach this offseason.
LOCK OUT SUCKS, I haven’t talked to my coach Whiz, can some one tell him I’m working my ass off and we will make playoffs this year! ThX #90
With the state of the lockout in flux no players can use the team facilities, work with their team training staff or be with their coaches.
It will get really odd next week when all these players that get drafted this weekend would normally be reporting for rookie mini-camps.
That likely won’t be the case this year. Players can organize their own workouts if they want to but that’s it.
Shortly after the rookie mini-camps there is a month of organized team activities. Those in recent years have turned into practice as each team has nearly a 100% turnout rate.
But as you can see. In these times of social media, even when Dockett can’t have contact with his coach, he’s finding a way to get his message across.
Here’s guessing there is a very good chance that tweet ends up in front of Whisenhunt.
