The Arizona Cardinals have released game day reminders for fans attending the Arizona Cardinals’ 2018 opener Sunday at State Farm Stadium against the Washington Redskins
— For the 1:25 p.m. kickoff, all game day parking lots will open at 9 a.m.
— Main entrance gates to the stadium open at 11:15 a.m.
— If tailgating before the game, the 9 a.m. opening is also good at The Great Lawn, which stretches more than 1,000 feet for fans to tailgate but is only open for pregame.
— Fans’ bags and carry-in items are subject to screening and search. Cell phones, cameras and other large metal items must be removed from pockets, but keys, wallets, coins and belts do not need to be removed. The Cardinals offer a “no bag line” for guests without bags.
— Approved bags taken into State Farm Stadium include one of the following: 12 inch by 6 inch by 12 inch clear plastic bag or; 1 gallon plastic freezer bag or; small clutch bag no larger than 4.5 inches by 6.5 inches. Non-approved bags will be denied entry.
— Cash parking will be available in the Black Lot from Camelback Road and 95th Avenue if coming from the south, or the Yellow Lot off 91st Avenue just south of Maryland Avenue if coming from the north. More information on the two new cash lots can be found here.
— A rideshare zone is now located on the south side of the stadium in the Black Lot (93rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road). Fans leaving the game can exit at Gate 1 or 3 and walk south to meet their rideshare driver.
— For those looking at dining options before the game but want to be close to the stadium, the “Big Red Brew Haus” opens at 9:45 a.m. So does the “Bud Light Primetime Grill,” “The Game Zone” and “Arizona Cardinals Flight Deck.”
— If you still need fresh Cardinals gear for the new season, the team shop opens at 9:45 a.m. and is located near Gate 2.
For those unsure of any other rules, you can find information on tailgates and more on the Cardinals’ A-to-Z guide here.
