Andy on the Street: Fans try to name that Cardinals rookie

An NFL roster in the preseason pushes closer to 100 players than the 53 that will make the team come Week 1 of the regular season.
Include some rookies in that mix, and it takes time to learn all of the players’ names and faces. With that, 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station’s Andy Greenberg and Liz Rehling set out to see how well Arizona Cardinals fans knew the first-year players.
The results were … not terrible.
Josh Rosen, the quarterback who’s earned a lot of attention since draft night, is already pretty recognizable.
Third-round pick and new starting center Mason Cole was also fairly easy to identify by Cards fans.
Zeke Turner, an undrafted rookie safety out of Washington? Not so much.
Somewhere between the third round and the undrafted players, our very scientific research found the threshold where it becomes too much to learn at this point in the preseason.
And we also learned that Greenberg either looks like a backup quarterback or a backup kicker. So there’s that.
