If anything was made clear by the first ASU drive of the season, it’s that wide receiver N’Keal Harry will be an integral part of the offense.
Not that that’s a surprise.
Harry was targeted three times in the four-play drive, taking the final one 58 yards for a touchdown.
He caught a short screen pass, spun out of a tackle and put on a burst of speed to get into space.
The potential first-round pick was gone.

ASU took a 7-0 lead after 1:16 of game time.
That wouldn’t be the case for long.
On the second play of the drive by University of Texas at San Antonio, ASU defensive lineman Shannon Forman jumped a pass and took it 25 yards to the house.

The 299-pound lineman gave ASU a 14-0 lead 1:59 into the first quarter of the first game.
The Herm Edwards era got underway with a bang. The train is rolling.
