Arizona Cardinals sign three defensive players to the practice squad

The Arizona Cardinals have signed three players to the practice squad, the team announced Monday.
B.J. Bello, Demetrious Cox and Chris Jones all signed to help the team for the 2018 season.
Bello signed with the Cleveland Browns last season as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Illinois State. The 23-year-old linebacker played at Illinois and transferred to Illinois State where he had 67 tackles and six sacks in 12 games played.
Cox was entered the league as an an undrafted rookie free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2017 out of Michigan State. He played in four games at safety with the Carolina Panthers last season before he was put on injury reserve after injuring his ankle.
Jones signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted rookie free agent in May out of Nebraska. The 23-year-old cornerback was cut by the Lions on Sept. 1. He had 76 tackles and five interceptions in 45 games played for the Cornhuskers.
