The Arizona Cardinals and 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station announced Wednesday that left tackle D.J. Humphries will host the weekly Big Red Rage show during the team’s regular season.

The show premieres Thursday from 6-7 p.m. at Majerle’s Sports Grill at Chandler Fashion Center and can be heard on ESPN 620 AM.

Big Red Rage returns for its 11th season at Majerle’s and has been airing since 2001.

Humphries will be the regular player host for the first time and joins returning 98.7 FM hosts Ron Wolfley and Paul Calvisi along with a Cardinals player guest for each show.

“Initially my only thing was I wanted to focus this season. You know it’s a big year for me and I just wanted to be able to lock in and get stuff done,” Humphries told Doug & Wolf Thursday on 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station. “But you know, just talking to myself and I  hit up (former host Calais Campbell) and kind of chopped it up with him, and decided it would be a good move for me. I’m excited to join you guys.”

Big Red Rage will usually air from 6-7 p.m. every Thursday throughout the regular season, though scheduling conflicts are possible due to Thursday games for the Cardinals, Diamondbacks or Suns.

Check AZCardinals.com and the @AZCardinals Twitter page for date and time changes.

Fans are welcome to attend the live broadcasts of the Big Red Rage show starting this week.
