A week after tying the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Cleveland Browns came one extra point away from getting their first win since Dec. 24, 2016.
Kicker Zane Gonzalez pulled it left. The Browns lost to the New Orleans Saints in overtime.
Cleveland fans are taking their anger out on Zane Gonzalez — that is, University of Rio Grande baseball coach, Zane Gonzalez.
The coach, who goes by the Twitter handle @ZaneGonzo36, began receiving tweets decrying the Browns kicker, whose Twitter handle is @ZaneG_5.

So close. Almost as close as they came to finally opening that Bud Light fridge that will give free beer to Browns fans once Cleveland wins.
When the Browns last won a football game 631 days ago, the real Zane Gonzalez had just finished his final season at ASU and become the all-time NCAA leader in field goals made.
But his 2018 season hasn’t gone as smooth. His potential game-winning kick last week was blocked, and then he missed two extra point attempts and two field goals against the Saints.
The Browns, now 0-1-1, continue to find new ways to lose. They’ll try to end their losing streak on the 638th day.
