ASU, Arizona basketball TV schedules for 2018-19 released

The 2018-19 college basketball schedule could potentially feature two nationally-televised games between Arizona State and Arizona this year.
ASU will host Arizona on Thursday, Jan. 31, for a 7 p.m. tip on either ESPN2 or ESPNU, then will close the year in Tucson for an afternoon CBS game on Saturday, March 9.
The Pac-12 released the full Pac-12 television schedules for the 2018-19 season on Thursday.
Among notable nonconference games, head coach Bobby Hurley’s team will play Mississippi State on Nov. 19 in Las Vegas (ESPNU) before a meeting against Nevada on Dec. 7. (ESPN2). A Dec. 22 hosting of Kansas will also be broadcast on ESPN2.
Up to 10 of Arizona State’s Pac-12 games will be broadcast nationally with the rest appearing on Pac-12 Network.
The Wildcats will first appear on a national network on Nov. 20, when they face either Gonzaga or Illinois on ESPN or ESPN2 in the Maui Jim Invitational. Sean Miller’s team could also appear on a national network the next day, depending on how it advances through the tournament.
Arizona will air on ESPN2 on Dec. 2 for a visit to UConn. On Dec. 9, UA will be featured on ESPN at Alabama before playing on ESPN2 at home against Baylor on Dec. 15.
