When Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald lines up
against the Philadelphia Eagles this week he might see a
familiar face across from him, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.
“It will be fun to compete, he’s one of the best athletes I
ever went against and it will be fun to see him,” Fitzgerald
said.
Rodgers-Cromartie was part of the trade, along with a second
round draft pick, that brought Kevin Kolb to Arizona this
offseason.
“It will be good to see DRC, he’s quiet a character, think
about some of the things that he did while he was here and
the fun that we had,” head coach Ken Whisenhunt said. “And
some of the big plays that he made.”
Rodgers-Cromartie has played in all eight games for the
Eagles this season but has zero interceptions after
recording a total of 13 during his three seasons in Arizona.
“I have a lot of respect for him as far as you have to be
careful because he can make a play on you,” Whisenhunt said.
