It was a rough go of it for the Arizona Cardinals in Sunday’s 27-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Not only did the Cardinals fall to 1-5 on the season, a number of offensive linemen left the game due to injury in Mike Iupati (back), Justin Pugh (hand) and Jeremy Vujnovich (hamstring).

Arizona Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks provided updates for Iupati and Pugh on Monday.

“Day-to-day, we’ll see exactly how they’ll go,” Wilks said when asked about the two linemen’s status on Monday. “[We’re] waiting for the reports right now from the trainers.”

Iupati, who had been questionable prior to the matchup with an injured shoulder and was limited in practice on Friday, is dealing with a back issue, according to Wilks. The lineman took a pay cut in March as the Cardinals restructured their offensive line.

Pugh is dealing with a hand injury, Wilks added.

“Right now, we’re waiting for the MRI to come back,” Wilks said of Pugh’s injury. “It could be broke, it could be sprained, we don’t know.”

Arizona signed Pugh to a five-year contract this offseason. The 28-year-old spent the first five years of his career with the New York Giants.

Wilks did not specify the extent of Vujnovich’s injury, but said he “would be out awhile” while on with 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station’s Bickley & Marotta on Monday.

Vujnovich was acquired off waivers at the beginning of September.
