The Arizona Cardinals signed Kyle Friend, an offensive lineman, to the practice squad on Tuesday.
In a corresponding move, Arizona released practice squad offensive lineman Will House to make room for Friend.
Friend has spent time on the New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers practice squads since entering the league in 2016.
He was also on the Carolina Panthers during the 2018 preseason until he was cut on Sept. 2.
Friend played college football at Temple and was teammates with current Cardinals linebacker Haasan Reddick for the Owls.
The Cardinals five offensive linemen listed on the team injury report for Week 7 against the Broncos. Four of them were listed as either limited or non-participants in practice on Tuesday.
