After missing the past two games because of flu-like symptoms, Arizona Coyotes starting goalie Antti Raanta is expected to play Saturday night against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Raanta last played a week ago against Winnipeg, a 5-3 Coyotes loss.
Backup Darcy Kuemper has been stellar in Raanta’s absence, stopping 62 of 64 shots in 4-1 wins over Columbus and Vancouver.
Raanta has a 2.34 goals against average in six games this season while Kuemper has posted a 1.34 GAA in three games.
The Coyotes, in the midst of a five-game homestand, are trying to extend their season-long winning streak to three games.
The puck will drop at 6 p.m. in Glendale and you can listen on KTAR News 92.3 FM.
