The Phoenix Suns on Friday released their “City Edition” uniform for this season and if you’re a fan of throwback Suns jerseys, you’ll like them.

The purple jersey with an orange trim features a “Los Suns” across the chest and resembles the jersey the Suns used to wear in the Kevin Johnson days.

The most notable omission from this jersey is the Suns’ old sunburst logo.

The Suns will debut the jersey Nov. 30 against the Orlando Magic and also wear them for home games against the New Orleans Pelicans (Mar. 1) and Chicago Bulls (Mar. 18)

The team will also wear it for road games against the Pelicans (Mar. 16) and Sacramento Kings (Mar. 23).

The uniform will be available for purchase at the Suns team shop on Nov. 9.

Last season, the Suns debuted their “City Edition” jerseys for a home game against the New York Knicks.

The NBA and Nike are in the second year of a partnership that makes the jersey possible.

The jersey actually found its way to a Phoenix sporting goods store earlier this week.

FootBasket.com tweeted a picture of a jersey it believed to be the Suns’ “City Edition” uniform for this season on Oct. 28.

The jersey was available at a Phoenix-area Dick’s Sporting Goods, per the tweet.

Fans had mixed feelings about the leaked jersey.

Some are excited for it.

Others wanted the return of the Suns’ retro sunburst logo.
