De’Anthony Melton is back with the Phoenix Suns following a short stint with the Suns G League affiliate, the Northern Arizona Suns.
Melton played in four games with the NAZ Suns averaging 18.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 6.0 assists.
He became the second NAZ Suns player to ever record a triple-double scoring 19 points to go with 13 assists and 10 rebounds against Iowa on Tuesday.
He became the first player for any team to post a triple-double in one of his first two games in the G League since Jae Crowder in 2014.
With Phoenix, Melton has appeared in two games for a total of 23 minutes.
He was the 46th overall pick in this year’s draft by the Houston Rockets and part of a trade that sent Marquese Chriss and Brandon Knight to Houston.
This was Melton’s second stint in the G League this season.
