GLENDALE, Ariz. — The Arizona Cardinals’ receiving corps won’t have Chad Williams back in the aftermath of losing leading wideout Christian Kirk to a broken foot.

Williams was among the inactives for Arizona on Sunday against the Detroit Lions.

He has been out since Week 8, a win over the San Francisco 49ers, due to an ankle injury. Against Detroit, that leaves a receiver group of Larry Fitzgerald, J.J. Nelson, plus rookies Trent Sherfield and Jalen Tolliver.

On a positive note for the Cardinals, safety Budda Baker will be available against the Lions.

Williams and Baker entered the Week 14 game at State Farm Stadium listed as questionable.

Baker missed the last two games of November against the Raiders and Chargers with a knee injury before playing last week in Green Bay. He briefly left the game against the Packers due to the knee injury but later returned.

Linebacker Deone Bucannon will miss his third game in a row due to a chest injury. The Cardinals had already ruled him out against the Lions on Friday.

Joining Bucannon and Williams on the inactive list are cornerbacks Dontae Johnson and Quinten Rollins, offensive lineman Zach Golditch, defensive end Vontarrius Dora and tight end Darrell Daniels.

The Lions placed running back Kerryon Johnson, linebacker Devon Kennard, receiver Brandon Powell, cornerback Teez Tabor, linebacker Trevor Bates, defensive end Kerry Hyder Jr. and offensive lineman Andrew Donnal on their inactives list.
