Jaworski: Time off could be beneficial to Kolb

You never want to see your starting quarterback get injured, but perhaps some time on the sidelines is just what Kevin Kolb needs to turn his season around.
That is what ESPN football analyst Ron Jaworski thought when he joined Arizona Sports 620’s Burns and Gambo.
“I do think there is a little bit of a learning curve when you’re on the sideline,” Jaworski said.
Being able to see how the offense is operated and how the plays are called is definetly an advantage for Kolb, who did not have an offseason with the Cardinals offense, according to Jaworski.
But Kolb needs to be on the field in order to really improve.
“Eventually, if you’re going to be the quarterback, you want to be on the field,” Jaworski said. “If he’s 100 percent he’ll be ready to go and I think Kevin will play well when he comes back, I really do.”
