There has been little for Suns fans to be excited about this season as the team finds itself at the bottom of the Western Conference standings.

However, there has been one bright spot in particular: Devin Booker.

The first fan returns of NBA All-Star voting were released Thursday with Booker landing with the ninth-most votes among guards in the Western Conference at 111,897 votes.

This season, Suns star has averaged 25.5 points, 7.2 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game.

However, Phoenix’s abysmal record and Bookers’ injuries — he has played in just 29 games this season — hasn’t gained him the All-Star recognition his stats would point toward.

He’s more than 60,000 votes below Lonzo Ball, the No. 8 guard in the west.

Golden State Warriors PG Steph Curry leads all guards with 793,111 votes.

Derrick Rose, whose resurgence in Minnesota has him playing near a level that he hasn’t come close to since his MVP days, is second in guard votes and third overall in the west with just over 698,000.

He is averaging 18.9 points and 4.8 assists over 32 games, 11 of which are starts.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James leads the NBA in votes with 1,083,383. The next-highest frontcourt player in the Western Conference is Luka Doncic, the rookie who has helped the Dallas Mavericks remain in the thick of the playoff race.

In the Eastern Conference, Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (991,561 votes) and Boston Celtics guard Kyrie Irving (910,329) lead the way.
