Super Bowl LIII is fast approaching, and what better way to celebrate than with this year’s batch of random prop bets? Sure, you could bet on things like the over/under or the margin of victory, but where’s the fun in that when you could risk your money trying to guess what color Adam Levine’s shoes will be during the halftime show?
Here are some of the best weird prop bets being offered by BetOnline in preparation for this year’s big game:
Nickell Robey-Coleman Called for PI During Game
Yes +200 (2/1)
No -300 (1/3)
Of course, we can’t talk about this year’s Super Bowl without discussing the controversial play in the NFC Championship game that helped the Rams make it this far. Nickell Robey-Coleman’s infamous pass interference/helmet-to-helmet hit that wasn’t called has been the talk of football for the past week, and now you can bet on whether or not Robey-Coleman will actually be flagged for PI during the Super Bowl. The odds currently lean toward no, but after last weekend, you can never be sure.
Will “Romostradamus” Be Said During Live Broadcast?
Yes +300 (3/1)
No -500 (1/5)
Former Cowboys quarterback-turned-CBS color commentator Tony Romo has earned himself quite a reputation during his short career in the booth. Romo has had tons of praise heaped onto him for his work as a broadcaster during the playoffs this year, which includes his uncanny ability to guess plays correctly before they even start. This has even led to some people on social media giving Romo the nickname “Romostradamus”, which of course means you can place a wager on whether or not this new moniker will be mentioned on the live TV broadcast.
Will Belichick and McVay Age Gap be mentioned during the game broadcast?
Yes -200 (1/2)
No +150 (3/2)
You may or may not have heard this ever since he was hired in early 2017, but Rams head coach Sean McVay is very young. In fact, at 33 years old, he will be the youngest head coach to ever coach in a Super Bowl once the big game kicks off next Sunday. Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, on the other hand, is the second oldest coach in the entire league, and he is McVay’s senior by almost 34 years. It’s a pretty safe bet that this fact will be mentioned at least once during the game.
What color will the liquid be that is poured on the game winning coach?
Clear/Water 5/2
Yellow
Blue
Orange 4/1
Red
Green/Lime 7/1
Purple
A Gatorade shower for the winning head coach has become a staple of every Super Bowl victory, and this year figures to be no different. You can bet on seven different colors for this year’s celebration, with clear/water currently holding the best odds. For the record, last year’s Gatorade shower was lime-colored, which matched up pretty closely to the uniforms that the victorious Eagles wore.
What Will be Higher SB Sunday?
Tom Brady TD Passes EVEN (1/1)
Donald Trump Tweets -140 (5/7)
It’s not a secret that President Trump loves to tweet. Twitter has long been Trump’s preferred way of communication, and it is likely that Super Bowl Sunday won’t prove to be an exception to this. If anyone can surpass the number of tweets that Trump sends with touchdown passes, however, it’s Tom Brady. This one may end up going down to the wire.
