Isaiah Thomas’ son gets a taste of the NBA life in hard-hitting interview

It’s never too early to get your kids ready for the real world, right?

For Denver Nuggets and former Phoenix Suns point guard Isaiah Thomas’ son Jaiden, life comes at you fast.

What seemed like a simple game of indoor hoops, quickly turned into much more.

After knocking down one of two pressure-filled free-throw shots, sealing the win for his squad (which looks to be the Cleveland Cavaliers from the jersey choice), it was on to the postgame interview.

Jaiden Thomas took it in stride as he was hit with a barrage of questions from the basketball-player-turned-reporter.

He even hit them with the classic player interview stance and look away when answering.

With the Memphis Grizzlies and New Orleans Pelicans on tap for the budding star, the young Thomas was asked how his team can be victorious over the next two games.

“Same thing we did today,” Thomas said confidently. “But we need to lock in more because we’re away.”

Clearly in the race for the league MVP, Isaiah Thomas dug a little deeper, asking Jaiden Thomas how he does what he does on the hardwood.

“Like I said, Grind. Grind everyday and get stronger, better and smarter,” the potential MVP said. “And the game gets funner and funner too.”

Already having mastered the art of press conference interviews with his brother, Jaiden Thomas looks like he can check another item off his NBA postgame checklist.

Give credit to Isaiah Thomas too, who evidently has honed in on his interviewing technique while rehabbing from his hip injury.
