ASU offensive analyst Kevin Mawae selected to Pro Football HOF

Arizona State football offensive analyst Kevin Mawae was selected as part of the 2019 Pro Football Hall of Fame, the league announced Saturday.
Mawae, who is entering his second season as an assistant under Herm Edwards, made the Pro Bowl eight of his 12 seasons as a center.
The 48-year-old spent most of his career with the New York Jets and also played with the Tennessee Titans and Seattle Seahawks.
Edwards was the head coach of the Jets during Mawae’s tenure with the team.
Other 2019 Hall of Fame inductees include Tony Gonzalez, Ed Reed, Champ Bailey, Ty Law, Johnny Robinson, Pat Bowlen and Gil Brandt.
The HOF induction ceremony will take place in Canton, Ohio in August.
