ASU draft prospect N’Keal Harry snuck into early versions of a few NFL mock drafts before his Sun Devil career ended.

Notably, ESPN’s Todd McShay and Pro Football Focus recognized Harry as a first-round talent.

McShay has since moved Harry out of the first 32 picks, but there is still first-round buzz for the Arizona State wide receiver. USA Today draft expert Doug Farrar has the Indianapolis Colts selecting Harry with their No. 26 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

… it’s time to give (Andrew) Luck an alpha dog alongside (T.Y.) Hilton, and Harry would be an excellent choice. He’s not a top-level burner, but like Keenan Allen, he uses route understanding and subtle separation skills to get open. An advanced quarterback like Luck would love a receiver with Harry’s skill set on the roster.

Farrar makes a solid case for the fit.

Luck saw a resurgence coming off a serious shoulder injury by passing for 4,593 yards, 39 touchdowns and 15 interceptions despite lacking a deep group of receivers.

After Hilton’s 1,270 receiving yards, it was tight end Eric Ebron (750 yards) and a group of little-used receivers and running backs splitting up the passing game production.

A true jump-ball receiver like Harry, who is listed at 6-foot-4 and 213 pounds, would certainly add another dimension to the Colts’ offense under second-year coach Frank Reich.

Harry opted to enter the draft after his junior season in which he caught 73 passes for 1,088 yards and nine touchdowns.
