After splitting the last three weekend series, the Arizona State men’s basketball team swept the last series at home before the end of the season.
After cruising to an 80-62 win over Stanford on Wednesday, the Sun Devils celebrated senior day with a win over Cal on Sunday.
The weekend sweep has strengthened the Sun Devils’ chances of securing an at-large bid according to most projections.
ASU was included in 95 of 109 brackets that are tracked by BracketMatrix.com as an average of a No.11 seed.
This week, the Sun Devils will face the tough task of attempting to complete their first road sweep under head coach Bobby Hurley in Oregon.
ASU will most likely need to win two of their three remaining road games in order to improve their case as an at-large bid before the Pac-12 tournament.
Using statistics from BracketMatrix.com and the NCAA’s Website, here is the updated ASU tournament résumé heading into the weekend Oregon road series.
