The Phoenix Suns on Thursday fined Josh Jackson $20,000 for skipping a team-sponsored autograph signing on Wednesday, 98.7 FM Arizona’s Sports Station’s John Gambadoro has learned.
The second-year forward was supposed to sign autographs at the Fry’s grocery store on 20th Street and Camelback between 6:30-7:30 p.m. but never showed up.
Fans who waited out Jackson were instead greeted by Suns interim general manager James Jones, who told people Jackson wasn’t showing up.

Where Jackson was during his scheduled interview session is unknown, but he posted an Instagram story of him at the restaurant Fogo de Chao only a couple of hours later.
It wasn’t all bad for Suns fans, though.
Jones, a three-time NBA champion, took photos with fans and bought those who showed up for the signing beer.
