Cardinals running back David Johnson took some time out to give back to the community on Tuesday, as he visited St. Mary’s Food Bank in Phoenix and donated more than 22,000 cans of Campbell’s Chunky Soup to the organization in order to help Arizonans struggling with hunger.

Johnson, along with Cardinals mascot Big Red and some of the team’s cheerleaders, also helped to pack soup cans into the emergency boxes that St. Mary’s distributes every month.

This is not the first time that the three organizations have partnered up for good, as last season, Campbell’s donated 30 cans of soup to St. Mary’s for every tackle the Cardinals made on defense during the 2018 season.
