The Arizona Cardinals have released quarterback Mike Glennon and safety Antoine Bethea.

Glennon, 29, signed a two-year deal with the Cardinals last season. In place of rookie Josh Rosen, Glennon threw for 174 yards and one touchdown in two games.

By releasing Glennon, the Cardinals’ two quarterbacks on the roster are Chad Kanoff and Josh Rosen.

In the 2017 offseason, the Cardinals signed Bethea to a three-year deal worth over $13 million. For the 2018 season, Bethea started all 16 games at free safety and led the team in tackles with 120. He also had four pass deflections and a career-high three sacks.

Bethea missed only two snaps all season, playing a team-high 1,111.

In addition to the two players being cut, the Cardinals signed running back D.J. Foster to a one-year deal.

Foster, the former Arizona State running back, had 336 all-purpose yards in the 2017 season and missed all of last year because of a knee injury from the preseason.

Arizona also tendered three offers to exclusive rights free agents. Tight ends Darrell Daniels and Ricky Seals-Jones, along with offensive lineman Jeremy Vujnovich received the offers.

Daniels played in two games for the Cardinals after being claimed off waivers in Week 13 while Seals-Jones had a career-high 34 catches and 343 yards receiving for Arizona in 15 games. Vujnovich made two starts for the injury-riddled offensive line and played in five total games.
