Former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Mike Glennon has signed with the Oakland Raiders, the team announced Friday.
He will be joining fellow former Arizona Cardinals wide receiver J.J. Nelson in Oakland for the 2019 campaign.
Glennon, 29, is a six-year veteran that was drafted in the third round by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2013.
In his sole season in Arizona, the NC State alumnus appeared in only two games, completing 15 of 21 passes (71.4 completion percentage) for 174 yards, one touchdown pass and no interceptions.
Glennon, who signed a two-year deal with the Cardinals, was released by the team on March 8.
He has a career 60.9 completion percentage to go along with 5,107 yards, 35 touchdown passes and 20 interceptions.
In his rookie season, the Pro Football Writers Association (PFWA) named Glennon to the All-Rookie team, an honor that has been voted upon by the PFWA since 1974.
Glennon spent four years in Tampa Bay before signing with the Chicago Bears in 2017 and the Cardinals in 2018.
The length and financial specifics of the newly signed contract were not disclosed.
