The Phoenix Suns on Sunday announced center Deandre Ayton will miss Monday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers due to a left ankle sprain.

Ayton left Saturday’s loss to the Memphis Grizzlies in the third quarter after landing awkwardly following a layup.

It was bad fortune for the former No. 1 pick, who had racked up 17 points and 13 rebounds in 27 minutes.

It’s unclear how long the injury will sideline Ayton for. The Suns have just five regular season games remaining, including the Cavaliers’ game.

Ayton is averaging 16.3 points per game and 10.3 rebounds per game in 71 games this season.

Tyler Johnson (ankle) and T.J. Warren (knee) are also out against the Cavaliers.
