The touchdown opened the scoring and helped the Hotshots improve to 5-3 this season, putting Arizona in a tie for the top spot in the Western Conference with the Commanders.
His 583 receiving yards trail only Orlando’s Charles Johnson (687).
Ross had 864 receiving yards and seven touchdowns in his two seasons with ASU in 2011 and 2012.
The Hotshots will look to make it four wins in a row next Sunday when they play Birmingham at home.
