Former Cardinals fullback Larry Centers will be in Nashville on Friday, April 26, to announce Arizona’s third-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.

It’ll be the second time Centers lent a hand to the Cardinals on draft night. He announced their second-round pick, LSU linebacker Kevin Minter, in the 2013 draft.

This year, Centers is one of 64 former or current players who will welcome a prospect to the NFL. The Cardinals will turn to his podium presence with the first pick in the third round at 65th overall.

Centers entered the league as a fifth-round draft pick by the Phoenix Cardinals in 1990 and spent nine years in the desert (1990-98). He played for the Washington Redskins (1999-2000), Buffalo Bills (2001-02) and New England Patriots (2003) before retiring with 6,797 receiving yards and 2,188 rushing yards over his career.

Centers was a Pro Bowler three times (1995, 1996 and 2001) overall, his first two selections coming as a member of the Cardinals.

Arizona will kick off the 2019 draft on Thursday, April 25, and owns the first overall selection.
