Former FB Larry Centers will announce Cards’ 3rd-round draft pick

Former Cardinals fullback Larry Centers will be in Nashville on Friday, April 26, to announce Arizona’s third-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
It’ll be the second time Centers lent a hand to the Cardinals on draft night. He announced their second-round pick, LSU linebacker Kevin Minter, in the 2013 draft.
This year, Centers is one of 64 former or current players who will welcome a prospect to the NFL. The Cardinals will turn to his podium presence with the first pick in the third round at 65th overall.
64 former and active players will announce selections at the 2019 NFL Draft (Rounds 2 and 3).
Names include: Terrell Owens, Shaun Alexander, Charles Woodson, Orlando Pace, Christian McCaffrey, Kam Chancellor, DeAndre Hopkins & Geno Atkins

Centers entered the league as a fifth-round draft pick by the Phoenix Cardinals in 1990 and spent nine years in the desert (1990-98). He played for the Washington Redskins (1999-2000), Buffalo Bills (2001-02) and New England Patriots (2003) before retiring with 6,797 receiving yards and 2,188 rushing yards over his career.
Centers was a Pro Bowler three times (1995, 1996 and 2001) overall, his first two selections coming as a member of the Cardinals.
Arizona will kick off the 2019 draft on Thursday, April 25, and owns the first overall selection.
