Fox Sports Arizona, D-backs present ‘Baseball Day Arizona’ on Saturday

This Saturday, Fox Sports Arizona and the Diamondbacks will host “Baseball Day Arizona”, which is a celebration of all things baseball and softball in the Valley.
“Baseball Day Arizona” will have 24 hours of programming on Fox Sports Arizona, and will feature three different live games from all different levels of play in the state.
The first game will start at 10 a.m., when Corona del Sol High School and Desert Vista High School meet at Chase Field in a battle of traditional baseball powerhouses. D-backs play-by-play announcer Steve Berthiaume will be on the call for this game alongside D-backs great Luis Gonzalez.
The focus shifts to softball at 1 p.m., as viewers will get to watch No. 8 Arizona take on Grand Canyon. GCU basketball head coach and Suns great Dan Majerle will be a special guest and throw out the first pitch.

The slate of games concludes with the D-backs taking on the Padres at 5 p.m. Former Cy Young Award winner Brandon Webb will throw out the first pitch along with his son.
“Baseball Day Arizona” will also have a number of different highlights throughout the day to go along with the games. D-backs manager Torey Lovullo will be mic’d up during their game, and reliever Archie Bradley will voice-over a video package called “This is Home” championing baseball in Arizona.
In addition to this, Fox Sports Arizona will be giving reports from different Little Leagues across the Valley, including South Mountain Little League and Arcadia Little League.
