Raiders blow up 2019 NFL Draft, make questionable decision again

Apr 25, 2019, 6:07 PM

Leave it to the Oakland Raiders to stay consistent.

Known for making questionable decisions in the NFL Draft, the Raiders did just that Thursday, selecting Clemson defensive end Clelin Ferrell fourth overall.

Ferrell has been mocked in the late first round and was not even considered to be in the discussion for the top-10.

Regardless, here we are, because, Raiders.

People were surprised but not surprised if you know what we mean.

Of course, the incredibly amusing backstory here is the report that head coach Jon Gruden and general manager Mike Mayock sent the majority of their draft room home last week, worried the pick would leak.

When the pick was made, ESPN had some Raiders fans ready to cut to for reactions. And boy oh boy, did they not disappoint.

Here we’ve got the awkward moment of, “Wait, who is that? What name did he sa— oh look we are on TV! Wooooooo!”

And then there’s pure disgust.

Beautiful.
