Phoenix Suns announce training camp dates

The Phoenix Suns will head up north for the second straight year when they open training camp on Sept. 30 at Northern Arizona University.

This season marks the 18th time the team has held its camp in Flagstaff.

Training camp will feature practices from Sept. 30 through Oct. 3, culminating in a scrimmage on Saturday, Oct. 4. The scrimmage will be held at the J. Lawrence Walkup Skydome and is open to the public.

All practices will be held at NAU’s Rolle Activity Center.
The Suns kick off their seven-game preseason at home against Brazil’s Flamengo on Oct. 8.

Regular season play begins on Oct. 29 with a home game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
