The Arizona Coyotes announced Monday that the Weekender ticket package, which includes tickets to all Friday, Saturday and Sunday home games, will come with an added bonus.

For the 2019-20 season, fans who buy the Weekender ticket package will also get two street hockey sticks, a ball and a net.

“This plan-along with the street hockey set included with each Weekender purchase aligns with our core goal of building fandom throughout Arizona,” team president and CEO Ahron Cohen said in a statement. “This is a perfect ticket plan for families and all of our great fans throughout greater Phoenix, including those in the East Valley. This convenient ticket plan will help make Gila River Arena the Valley’s place to be on weekends.”

The Coyotes have frequently made efforts to grow the game locally, and this latest move is just a continuation of that effort.

“To top things off,” Cohen added, “we are continuing to grow our great game of hockey at the grassroots level by providing all Weekender plans with a complimentary street hockey set to get more kids throughout Arizona participating in our sport.”

The ticket package will also include a one-time bonus ticket voucher, access to an exclusive event, priority for playoff tickets, a discount at the team store, discounts on other single game tickets and a Coyotes car magnet.

The ticket packages will be available starting on Saturday, May 18, at an Open House/Skating Party at Gila River Arena, which runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There, fans can meet forward Vinnie Hinostroza, tour the locker room and meet Howler and the Paw Patrol. Fans who wish to skate must RSVP for a skating session in advance here.
